Calling all active military personnel to learn more about history at the Wild Wonderful King Vintage Museum.
The museum is one of the more than 1300 museums nationwide which offer free admission to active duty military and their families between Memorial Day and Labor Day 2011 as part of the Blue Star Museum program. The free admission program is available to active duty family members (with valid military id holder and five immediate family members). Active duty military include Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard and active duty National Guard and active duty Reserve members. The Blue Star Museums is a partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star families, and more than 1300 museums across America who are participating in the program in an effort to thank our military families for their service and share with them America’s cultural treasures.

Mission Statement
The mission of the museum is to foster an awareness and appreciation of the history of vintage fashion, to ensure the conservation and preservation of the collection for generations to come, to offer an education for all ages on the lifestyles and fashions of past eras, and to provide an education on the conservation and preservation of textiles from the past.
